Selection of translator(s) for language and specialisation
All client requirements conveyed to translator
Consultation between interpreters (standardisation of terminology)
Supervision and coordination of the process by PATKON
Two-stage quality control:
Verification by a second translator (substantive correctness, linguistic, stylistic, control of a consolidated vocabulary)
Final control of translation by PATKON (format, completeness, compliance with the client’s guidelines)
On request, we create and update terminology databases
Translator selection criteria:
Higher education
Very good knowledge of the mother tongue
Very good knowledge of the foreign language
Minimum 5 years of practical experience
Expertise in selected areas
Highly skilled translator
Punctuality, reliability, loyalty, confidentiality
Required hardware and software
Labour productivity min. 10 pages per day
